Front wings

Has anyone ever gone through the fun process of trying to find a front wing for their CSK?

I *think* I've ascertained that the wings are actually "upto FA374641" (exposed hinge) items, but with the holes cut in them in front of the wheelarch for the indicator repeater.

Is this correct, or are they "FA374642 onwards" (concealed hinge) items, with a slot cut in the back to accomodate the exposed hinge?

Or to put it another way, do the wings mount to the inners / chassis / sills in a different way between the 2 and 4 door shells, and are they therefore different apart from the hinge slot and indcator repeater holes?

after reading that i think i have a headache coming on!
i have to admit i'd find one that looks about right and mod it to make it correct.
must be the bodger and engineer in me!
