ECU and springs

Post by cebe »

Hi everyone!

Does anybody know the part numbers of the CSK's coil springs?

If I'm right the CSK has got an unique ECU mapping.
Is this particular fuel mapping available as data or EPROM somewhere?

Thanks

The ECU does indeed have an unique ECU mapping, but it's only 1HP different from the "standard" ECU mapping. If you're getting one replaced / repaired, it would probably be worth going for one of the modded maps which gives you even more than the 185BHP of the original CSK.

Springs are the same as for 4 doors of the same year. Infact, the only spring specification change seems to have been at VIN GA464553. (there's one spec before that VIN no, and one spec after that VIN no)
CSK 109: Genuinely 34K miles, genuinely unrestored, genuinely in need of some TLC.

I've put -1" springs on mine from Famous Four, works nicely and gives a good ride.

Hi Jeremy!

Could you kindly provide a pic of yours.

Can't imagine how it may look lowered by 1" - mine is equipped with 215-85 respectively 245-75 tyres...

Which ECU provides reliably more power than original?

Thanks
Christoph
