CSK 161 for sale

My CSK (no. 161) is now for sale.
I have owned this car for 7 years and it is used daily. I would describe it as good all round condition – not perfect but it is original and unrestored. The only non-original parts are the upper tailgate (replaced with an aluminium one) and the stainless steel tubular exhaust (although I still have the original manifolds if you’re a stickler for originality). It has not been molested by LPG conversion. It has a Land Rover bullbar which I believe was factory-fitted and aftermarket side-steps. Exterior body work and paint good apart from a couple of small paint bubbles, generally where the paint has lifted but the underlying aluminium panel is sound. The chassis is very solid but there is some rust in the front inner wings which is not an MOT failure (these are not structural) but if I were keeping the car I would be thinking about replacing these in the next couple of years.
The interior is complete, leather seats and door cards good apart from a small split in the driver’s seat back. Mechanically and electrically everything works except the following:
Air con – it operates but does not actually provide any cooling, presumably due to loss of coolant and needs a recharge.
Central locking works on doors but not the tailgate, so I just use the key.
Rear wiper works in wash/wipe mode but not wipe only, presumably due to a faulty relay.
The engine’s done 159K and runs fine but could probably do with a decoke / tune-up. It doesn’t burn oil or use coolant. It leaks a small amount of oil which I gather is a standard “feature” of all Land Rovers, but this only requires topping up every few months. I’ve replaced many parts over the years – brakes, radiator, exhaust, ignition components, tyres. I have a lot of receipts showing work done and some previous history but I don’t have the boxed certificate that originally came with all CSKs.
This CSK is ready to drive and enjoy right away with tax and MOT till December. Viewing and inspection welcome – I am in Hampshire. I am advertsing on this forum first to give enthusiasts the first opportunity - asking price £5995.
