CSK No.15 for Sale

Hi everyone. My CSK (No.15) is for sale. Three classics (including a Series One Station Wagon and an MGB Roadster) are too much! In my view this has to be one of the better survivors but is desirable in view of the fact that it carries the number plate G15 CSK, and also has all its manuals and the boxed certificate signed by Spen King, all in perfect condition. It is an automatic and has done 104k miles with MoTs to verify. The car failed its MoT in March but is currently having replacement full sills fitted at a Land Rover specialist in York. It will therefore come with a full MoT and around 9 months tax and the certainty that there are no more nasties lurking underneath. I have lots and lots of bills and history for it up to about 2001, and it has clearly been cherished. It has a new top tailgate, a stainless steel exhaust and drives extremely well. The next pieces of work to be done would be the fitting of a good second hand tailgate (it needs spraying)as the bottom of the original one is a bit flaky, and repairs to one screen pillar. The chrome bumpers are unmarked, the leather interior and headlining are well above average though not perfect, the alloys are good and the tyres all match (Michelins) and the spare, strangely, appears unused. The vehicle is entered in the Heritage Run from Solihull to Gaydon on May 6 and I will advertise the vehicle for sale there too, if it has not sold already; if it does sell, the admission to your first rally is free! You can see a few pictures of the car on my own site www.rangerovercsk.co.uk to give you an impression of its overall condition (I started the web site but abandoned it when this one got going!). Any inspection is welcome, it really is a very smart car and a real head turner. I'm in no hurry to sell and am prepared to wait for the car to fulfil its potential value, which I put around 6750. If you are interested, then phone for a chat on 01904 792620 or 07789 883499. Car is located in York.
