Hi,

Sorry but didnt know about this site, just to say that my other half, Paul has found and is advertising the presentation pack for CSK 173 on e-bay, had we known about the site we would have first of all tried to contact the owner, anyhow please pass on the message.

As the present enthusiastic owner of 173, I urge you to do the right thing and let me have the certificate and the box at a price agreeable to us both, any proof you require that i am the owner of 173 juat ask.. I have a different numbered box which i can trade you if required. Thanks

:X Unfortunatly, the presentation box and cert for my car 173 was sold to someone else, other than me... The thing I find strange is; after trying unsucessfully to negotiate with the vendor, and then being out bid in the last seconds of the ebay auction, I contacted the buyer to inform him or her that I am the owner of 173 and that I owned a box and so on for a different numbered CSK and perhaps we could do a deal, since I know he dosen't own 173 and he dosen't know what numbered box etc I have, If he/she was a genuine owner they would have made contact incase I had the items for their car... I hope this makes sense, it does to me...

That's very disappointing, even more so as the original vendor posted on just about every Range Rover forum going that they were selling the box set for your car.

The decent thing would have been to cancel the auction as soon as you got in touch...

Here's hoping the final buyer will eventually get in touch...

As a matter of interest, how much did the presentation box sell for on ebay?

£227,22 was the final price, and still no contact from either party. with referance to a previous comment

what I find disappointing is that a CSK enthusiast saw these items for sale somewhere and didn't inform the actual cars owner, I mean its not like it is difficult to track down the owners and contact the ones who are on this site, my email address has been clearly posted on this site for well over a year now.I thought the main point of this type of thing was to help other owners where possible?
Thanks!
