Build certificates and hand books

Post by Gareth »

does anyone know where i can get (if its possible) a copy or reissue of the original build certificates and hand book for my csk? (num 57)
i know many of the owners of csk's now unless they (are very lucky!) are missing this bit of history for their range rovers.
Anyone got and idea????

I'm in the same boat (or should that be car?)

I'd very much like to get hold of the "original" manual and certificate which went with my car.

just an update.
it seems getting a copy is out of the question as many (inculding me) have no idea what they look like!
tried my local landrover dealer (Marshalls in peterborough) and they put me to the landrover tech support. All they said they could do was give me the name of the dealer who sold the car when new.
now trying the DVLA route who for £5 will give me a list of the previous keepers.
i live in hope that one has the certificate and book and is kind enough to let me have/purchase it!!
also been in the LRO forum and no-one there seems to know how.

thats it for now will let you know how i get on!

Hi Gareth,

I'm lucky to have an original certificate with sales brochure, number 41.
I made a digital photo of this. If you like, I could send you an email with this photo so you can see how it looks like. My email-adress is bakkoff@planet.nl

I have an original CSK sales brochure, when I get a chance, I'll do some scans of it for people.

However, the original CSK owners manual and certificate still elude me.

One possible suggestion would be to scan an origonal certificate, modify it to the number of the vehicle required and print it out.
